Spirituality and the Seriously Ill Patient and Family

This program is appropriate for all audiences, including families, the community and other non-clinical professionals.  (No continuing education credits are offered.)

Addresses the spiritual needs of the dying patient and their family.

·         Recognize the spiritual care needs of those nearing the end of life

·         Define spirituality, religion, spiritual health, spiritual distress, chaplain and minister

·         Discuss parameters of spiritual assessment and interventions
