The Mission of HCI Foundation:
Our mission has a long-standing charitable premise - founded on volunteer support and philanthropy. Many of the programs and services offered are not fully funded by fees for service, insurance, government grants, or contracts. Some services are offered FREE of charge or below operating costs to keep them affordable. To continue these programs, our Foundation raises funds through special events, direct mail, grants and other fundraising efforts.
We thank the individuals, corporations and organizations whose gifts last year enabled our Foundation to provide more than $500,000 in financial assistance to patients and families in hospice care. With your support, we can help ensure peace of mind for patients and families who are on the end-of-life journey.
Our Foundation was established in 1986 to support HCI Care Services. It does so by cultivating, soliciting, managing and providing funds to maintain, improve and advance services to our community. Part of the mission of HCI Foundation is to practice sound stewardship in its administration of community resources entrusted to its care on behalf of HCI Care Services.
We fund quality of life needs for families in need, wish fulfillment for patients, staff education and provides for the equipment and capital needs of the Kavanagh Houses and all HCI Care Services locations.
